Photographers Sarah Van Rij and David Van Der announce their joint exhibition on the 15th of November at the Prefectural Museum in Chiba, Japan.

The exhibition will be held in the Main hall of the Chiba Prefectural Museum of Art in Japan. They will present a total of 84 works, the complete series from their collaborative book 'Metropolitan Melancholia' (published by Kominek in 2023-sold out) alongside a selection of our still-life works.

The exhibition features prints in various formats, sizes and techniques, as well as large-scale blow-ups of the book’s design by Matt Willey.

The show opens on 15 November 2025 and runs through 18 January 2026.
