Shadow Works, Living the Dream Exhibition

Martina Hoogland Ivanow returns to Dorothée Nilsson Gallery for her third solo exhibition. She presents a striking selection of images from her new book Shadow Works, Living the Dream, alongside video works that explore the fragile equilibrium between balance and imbalance in everyday life.

Working primarily with photography and film, Hoogland Ivanow masterfully examines the interplay between filtered light, sound, and image. Her layered works reveal recurring themes of the irrational, the theatrical, and the human fascination with identity.

Shadow Works, Living the Dream is produced in collaboration with Livraison Magazine and Books and Linjepunkt, featuring a text by curator Grace Johnston. The exhibition will also be accompanied by the book release and a conversation between Martina Hoogland Ivanow and artist, activist, and educator Adam Broomberg on December 13 at 5 PM.
