Atlas of Echoes: A New Photobook and Exhibition by Sarah van Rij

Sarah van Rij is proud to announce the release of her first monograph, Atlas of Echoes, now available for pre-order through Note Note Éditions. This photo book brings together seven years of her evolving artistic practice, offering an intimate look at her journey from street photography to still life, self-portraits, and intricately crafted handmade collages composed solely from her own photographs.

Atlas of Echoes is a carefully curated exploration of van Rij’s distinctive visual language and poetic sensibility. The book includes 73 images, and 30 are showcased in her solo exhibition at La MEP in Paris, running from from December 11, 2025, to January 25, 2026.

Published by Note Note Éditions and printed by Robstolk Amsterdam, the book also features a thoughtful essay by curator Victoria Aresheva, who curated the La MEP exhibition.
