Lynette Garland was born and brought up in Wales. Originally known for her work as a fashion stylist, her first photography commission was from Love magazine after her candid, personal backstage shots caught the attention of Katie Grand. She was subsequently asked by both Marc Jacobs and Miu Miu to document and catch moments behind the scenes at their shows and campaigns. Lynette uses her extraordinary eye for detail to great effect often honing in on smaller, delicate moments, often missed in the bigger picture. She creates beautiful and sensitive images which are powerful, arresting and memorable. She has worked for clients including Schiaparelli and Miu Miu and regularly shoots for magazines such as The Violet Book and Harpers Bazaar.
